Metoidioplasty Options
Dr. Celtik offers a few variations of Metoidioplasty to suit different needs. From Simple Release to Full "Belgrade" Metoidoiplasty, you can custom design your Meta to include any combination of Vaginectomy, Urethral Lengthening and "VY" Scrotoplasty. Some patients can also benefit from a Monsplasty, or mons resection, which removes fat from the mons pubis area to improve the forward positioning of the penis and scrotum.
Dr. Celtik offers a choice between saline- or silicone-filled testicular implants. Implants can be placed nine months after the primary Metoidioplasty surgery. If a larger scrotum is desired, ask Dr. Celtik about using tissue expanders.
